2019 Brokenstone Hawke’s Bay Merlot Blend
Impenetrable colour, the aroma is an explosion of dark damson plum, 10 spice, black olive, black liquorice and sandalwood notes. There is mouth filling richness on the palate with dark plum, Christmas cake and savoury, meaty complexity. The tannins are very fine grained with a soft, chalky quality providing beautifully balanced length.

Medium deep colour. Fresh dark cherry, blackcurrant pastille aromas with herb, rhubarb, mocha notes. Plush voluminous and classic with blackcurrant, dark plum fruits, slinky looseknit tannins, mocha espresso oak notes and long persistent mineral acidity. Finishes chocolatey form. Perfectly ripe wine with density, generosity and mineral length.
